In my online gallery, each painting transcends its visual form to become a multi-layered exploration of knowledge and human dreams. These artworks are not just images; they are a personal and introspective journey into how I envision the future. Amidst the rapid and sometimes harsh waves of change, every painting evolves into a unique narrative - sometimes a parody, at times a validation, often an irony, occasionally a jest, or a wistful contemplation of what could have been but wasn’t.
The creation of each piece is a rigorous intellectual endeavor. It stems from extensive research involving numerous academic papers, insightful interviews, and countless hours of deep study. This process ensures that every painting is not just a work of art but a repository of knowledge and foresight.
The themes covered in these artworks are at the cutting edge of societal evolution. They delve into the complexities of longevity, the intricate web of human relationships with virtual entities, our burgeoning ties with artificial intelligence, the convergence of virtual and physical worlds, the expanding realm of satellite connectivity, and other pivotal topics. Hello and welcome to my blog/art gallery! I'm the co-founder of Mente X, where innovation meets passion. My academic journey has taken me through prestigious institutions such as Georgetown University and Singularity University, where I've been honored to serve as a Fellow. My work has even caught the eye of the MIT Technology Review.
My educational background includes a degree in Industrial Engineering from Javeriana University and a Master’s in Project Management from the Catholic University of Chile. Beyond academics, I've been fortunate to apply my knowledge in various sectors, including hospitality, education, and Deeptech, always with a focus on benefiting the common good.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with NGOs and establishing businesses, each experience enriching my understanding of technology, future design, and innovation. This journey has led to recognition from notable entities like the U.S. Department of State, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the World Environment Center.
In this blog, I hope to share insights, experiences, and ideas that have shaped my journey. It's a space for exploration, learning, and meaningful conversation.
